This item works very well for me. I read the reviews and adjusted the cooking temperature to address the reviewers' concerns. This pan gets very hot. I believe that at least for me it is not necessary to raise the temperature above 3. Cook pancakes in 2 and burgers in 3. The only issue I have with this product is the tilt of the pan. If you want to avoid oil in your food, this product is for you. The oil drains very easily and quickly into the tanks. Fantastic purchase for me.
