It currently writes at speeds ranging from 7 megabytes per second to 20 megapixels per second, which is a decent speed. This is connected to a USB 2.0 port. Only 3 stars for durability as I haven't had it for more than a day. but I assume it works fine. I liked the look, a gift for teens, the quality, the speed and the price so I bought two more and they work great too!
