I think it's the perfect size for him
I got this sandbox when my son was 2 years old, now he is 3 years old and he still plays in this sandbox. I think it's the perfect size for him, he comes in sometimes but mostly just plays with it while sitting. I only put 2 sandbags in and it was fine, I think I can put 3 in but I never do.
