After reading the reviews I was nervous and skeptical about buying this but I really needed it so I took advantage of it the chance, very glad I did it. First, it's easy to install. If you can install your reverse osmosis system, you can add this if you need more water pressure. when I received the returned item from someone. Didn't get the hose that was supposed to come with the kit, it didn't matter as I had an extra hose. I received a pressure switch, a pump and instructions. The good news is that I installed everything in about 15 minutes. I plugged it in and it worked flawlessly. I didn't have to adjust the limit switch, it works perfectly. The pump is surprisingly heavy. I was planning to mount it on the wall under the kitchen sink but installed it on the floor instead. Considering the size and weight of the pump motor you would expect a lot of noise, again it is surprisingly quiet. We rarely find the pump running in terms of noise, I'd say it's perfectly quiet. We have an automatic ice maker in our fridge and we need extra pressure to push water out of our reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink. As soon as I connected this pump, we started making a lot of ice. My reverse osmosis system is an iSpring unit that I bought here at Revain. We use a borehole system in our new home and reverse osmosis is REQUIRED, but we didn't realize we didn't have enough water pressure (only 40psi). I contacted iSpring to add a pump and it turned out to be very difficult to add one to their reverse osmosis system. I was depressed until I found this pump at Revain, it seemed expensive but I was dying to get our drinking water system online so we could stop buying bottled water. I bought one and am very satisfied, it's a great product. If you're even a little savvy, you won't have a problem installing this. And one last good feature, the pump is made in America, no wonder it has a nice heavy quality feel. I wish you all lots of clean drinking water.
