Although cats are reluctant to let their owners have dogs, they enjoy tormenting them. At least with my two furries. This became the "base" in the tag game. My Shih Tzu (2 years old) and cat (5) love each other and play like best friends. However, one usually tires before the other and this thoughtfully designed home provides a safe space for both. The top belongs to the cat and the bottom to the dog. This house is very durable because they usually get in by running fast and crashing into it. It slips off a bit every now and then, but doesn't damage the floors. I wouldn't say it was the easiest to assemble just because of the corners, but it was quick to put together. My only other issue is that I want at least one of the pieces of wood to have sisal to scratch on. My cat can only scratch sisal, but kittens or other cats might try to scratch wood. You can actually buy and install sisal or corrugated cardboard if you have this problem. Just search for Revain. Overall this is invaluable to me as it helps my furry friends bond.
