Review on πŸ”§ Metal Garden Tool Organizer for Garage - 68 Inch Adjustable Storage System for Rakes, Brooms, and Yard Tools by Jacqueline Garrabrant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good concept, works well but needs improvement

Bought three of these because I hate plastic. They work, but I have a few issues: 1) They recommend installing them on studs, but the spacing between the holes doesn't allow for more than one screw to be installed in the studs, and the anchor bolts provided aren't good for drywall. I used my own screws and anchors. 2) Many of my tool handles slip through rubber coated C-frames over time and eventually fall out. The rubber used does not provide sufficient friction. I have a broom with a 1 inch wooden handle that falls out within two days if hung with the brush on. If I hang it with the brush up, it slides down until the brush arms touch the holder. Tried hanging on several different holders, the result is the same. I would prefer the brush to be at the bottom or at least a foot above the holder for effective clearance, but I live with the fact that it rests against the holder. It's the same with my shovels. 3) The rubber coating on several hangers has torn at the point of contact with the handles of the tool. None of my tools exceed the recommended maximum weight or handle diameter. 4) I don't like the little rubber plugs that attach to the end of each C-clip at the end of the hinge. They are too loose and very easy to remove. It's a good concept and it works well, but it needs some work.

Cons
