Review on 💄 COVERGIRL Outlast: Custom Nudes Lip Color for All-Day Wear in Universal Nude by Heather Anderson

I bought this lipstick because I got a discount and didn't know what to expect. I was positively surprised. Lipstick is definitely the star of this product. DURABILITY - yes. no Come. out. To see how durable it really is, I wore it around the house for 12 hours, ate twice and drank heavily, smiled, chewed gum and talked. When I went to take pictures, it looked the same as when I put it on. I had to use makeup remover to remove it. COLOR. Judging by the picture I assumed the medium cool color would be more of a pinkish red. It's just nude lipstick. I was disappointed at first, but the color goes really well with my very fair, cool skin. It dries very matt and very opaque. You only have to use a thin layer. I put on more than one coat and at times it felt very bulky and uncomfortable so I only used one coat. UPPER LAYER. As far as I can tell, the "top tier" is completely unnecessary. It's basically a very soft, moist(?) lip balm, except you don't get any moisture from applying it over lipstick for obvious reasons. I had to exfoliate and moisturize my lips after taking off the lipstick. If you want a matte lipstick, you can skip the top coat. It's very shiny, which seems to be its main purpose. It doesn't stick very well to the lips so I'll be using my regular Burt's Bees lip balm in the future for a longer lasting and less shiny effect. I might like a top coat over a lip stain, but overall I don't see myself doing it very often. I never have and never have nude lipstick, but I think I'll benefit a lot by pairing it with my purple and black lip liner. In general, I recommend and maybe I'll buy the same thing in a different color!
