Bought for an elderly layman who enjoys listening to beautiful music. I was able to complete the initial setup but wasn't able to train the gift recipient on all the steps needed to use it to its full potential and there is no remote control which also makes it difficult to use. Those shortcomings aside, it sounds great, looks great and works great for a semi-technical operator, but a remote control and more detailed owner's manual would be a huge improvement for any user. I had to call tech support to clarify some inexplicable features and the tech representative helped me a lot. I called tech support twice and had to leave a message to take my calls which came back two days later and I wasn't home to take the call so I picked up the line and spoke to tech Brandon. who called me back and guided me through all the procedures, he was very helpful to me but I was unable to train the senior end user on how to follow all the steps to use all the features of this device. I'm returning the Revain unit as I already have an old/outdated Livio radio that still works fine, but if it ever breaks I'll hopefully buy another of these units with some upgrades.
