This model is mainly intended for trimming, contouring and last but not least for direct shaving, but more on that later. Interestingly, this unit takes a long time to charge, namely 8 hours and then only works for 45 minutes, although, on the other hand, all sorts of moisture protection and other "innovative" things have reached the campaign and Philips. It is also claimed that dry and wet shaving can be carried out, with and without foam. Well, a little later, we will try dry shaving in the area of the mustache without foam. What especially pleased me in the design of the box is that it is quite simple to open it. Along the perimeter in 4 places there are strips of adhesive tape, which are quite tightly glued. That is, it is enough to pry with a fingernail and you have to run with scissors, albeit a trifle, and that you don’t have to suffer with opening the package, as happens, for example, with boxes of headphones or other small accessories, where you have to drag the entire repair kit to overcome the box. Fortunately, everything here is conveniently thought out. Upon opening the box, the first thing we are greeted with is an advertising sticker offering to buy the first set of blades with a 50% discount, a good advertising technique, and most importantly, very thoughtful. And I think that those who bought this trimmer will take advantage of this offer, because 1 blade for it costs 1200 rubles, which of course is a lot. Next comes a certificate of conformity stating that this device has been certified in the territory of the Russian Federation. And a lot of additional waste paper, like a warranty card and user manual, but I don’t need them, since I’m an adult boy with a higher engineering education and I think that I can handle a device that has one button, and installing a nozzle and replacing a blade, and even more so I can handle it. I was especially pleased with the bottom of the box: firstly, there is a special plastic barcode on it, as a protection against fakes, keep this in mind, and secondly, politically correct instructions for using the trimmer. This was done solely so that you could not sue the company, they say here is a picture for you, if for some reason you wanted to send the included power adapter to SpongeBob at the bottom of your own bath, then you will be responsible for the consequences of this fun action yourself, because You have been warned. Actually the power adapter for recharging the trimmer, although it is compact. The kit also comes with three special nozzles for cutting bristles, namely 1.3 or 5 millimeters. Pretty good, the only pity is that I shaved off my beard immediately after the end of the self-isolation measures. The package is completed by a special box for storing blades, a handy little thing. Let's go directly to the trimmer itself and how it shaves. The case is made of rubber, which is pleasant to take in hand. There are two buttons on the outside: 1) On/Off button. 2) Button for removing the blade. The unit was made in Indonesia. I immediately put it in the box for storing spare blades, which came with the trimmer in the kit: As an experiment, I decided to shave the area around the mustache, I did not shave my chin without using foam and without water. Result before use: After: As a result of shaving, I can draw several conclusions: 1. Absolutely smooth shaving is not obtained, however, the skin becomes smoother. 2. Complete absence of irritation, although I have smooth skin and it is without water and foam. Very pleasant feeling after shaving. 3. This variant of shaving is very suitable for me because I sometimes forget to shave, and I get irritation from the electric razor. In addition, I have never pursued an absolutely smooth shave, a small stubble suits me personally. 4. Accordingly, you can shave already when you are standing fully dressed in the corridor. 5. It might annoy someone, but unlike electric shavers, this thing will scatter hairs a little over the area, so get ready. This trimmer cost me 2400 rubles and an additional blade 1300, excluding the total discount of 600 rubles, so I am satisfied with the purchase, besides, the manufacturer gives a two-year warranty. I know the products of Philips, it will work for decades, it will be of high quality and indestructible. A razor can definitely be given as a gift, just make sure that you don’t give it to a stingy person, for whom a good and high-quality blade of a thousand rubles will be an unbearable burden. And of course, I remind you that this price is not the last, that there may be discounts and promotions, there are, of course, stores where you can buy a trimmer much cheaper. But I'm used to using trusted stores. And it’s better to overpay 100 rubles, but I’ll be sure of the seller and the product. The race for the price usually turns into tears and scandals in the future, From shaving with an electric razor or from a foam machine, a completely different feeling, this toy will be a great addition. In addition, it is more designed for lovers of long stubble or for those who are more comfortable trimming their beard in this way, but nevertheless, it copes with its task. Naturally, this is not the most amazing thing that I have ever used in my life, then I give iron 4 points to the trimmer.
