As mentioned earlier, the female end is a little loose. If you wiggle the cable, it will make a loud popping noise (if you're using it to record sound from a monaural microphone). The sound actually cuts out, it's so loud and my ears hurt when I'm wearing headphones. It's just not worth the risk. I was hoping this would save me the trouble of cloning a mono source, but it could have completely ruined your sound! My microphone is fine on its own and is not causing this problem. I also tested it with other microphones and the same thing happens.
