It's not as big as a regular ring light but I don't mind because I like to sit on the floor and do my makeup. I like how I can get it very low to the ground since I'm on the ground in a criss-cross pattern, but it stands very high. Plus, this ring lantern is perfect for on the go! I took it on a trip to the Dominican Republic and it took up a bit of space, but for what it is it was pretty compact. Great addition to our trip and I'm so glad I took it with me as the lighting in our Airbnb wasn't the best when we were trying to get ready.
