LED as Eye of Sauron

PRO: The fan is quiet and cools well. CONS: The LED bulb is too bright to use in the bedroom at night. You have to cover it with a piece of cardboard, which makes the remote control unusable. The base also seems very fragile. It's just a two piece hollow plastic disk with the same thin "neck". I can easily see it cracking when accidentally touched or knocked over by a child.
