I have been using this product for several years (2-3) and have bought it from Amazon several times. I originally found this product at Marshalls for a little less than what it sells here. However, they cannot guarantee that you will always find it at this store (and often when you do find it, it is in rough condition). I love the convenience of having my favorite hair product available through Amazon Prime and find the slightly higher price point well worth it. As for the reviews that the product is not genuine: maybe? But I didn't have any problems with it. I noticed they changed the design of the bottle but still think it's the same great product. Background on my hair: I have slightly wavy, medium thick Caucasian hair that has seen its fair share of highlights etc. I find this product works great for me after a shower and makes my dry hair less frizzy than if I hadn't used it.
