As with some of the other reviews I found the coffee maker spits out hot water from the top when brewing coffee. I'm definitely not overflowing the device; I carefully measured out 10, then 8, then 6 ounces of water. The lid seems to need some sort of gasket to keep hot water from spilling out from the top. Too bad because the coffee maker is nice and small enough to fit on your desk. But the worst thing was that after purchasing this product I received 5 (!) emails from the seller (some even before the device arrived) to be sure. I was pleased. "If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us." When I discovered the problem, I emailed the seller. "Give it back to Revane," was her reply. No explanation, no apology, no indication if this was a defective device or expected behavior. It's bad enough that they're selling a faulty product. Worse, they blame Revane for their problems. avoid it
