I have owned an OMD EM10 M2 for over 3 years and it is a good companion for street and amateur photography. I've been waiting for the 20MP EM10 models and they're finally here. There was a brief offer from Revain for this camera body - black for $459, clicked on it immediately, like the silver but that's ok. The TruepicVIII processor is amazing, 4K video, focusing in low light is much better, image stabilization is better and once you focus, it stays in focus even if you move the camera. USB charging is great, no bulky charger required. There is a noticeable difference in image quality, color and contrast. Again, many preset filters are available. All the features in a compact palm size, you won't regret it. If you want to aim and shoot like a small camera and turn it into a professional camera in the blink of an eye, then this is for you. I tried it with my 25mm and 45mm lenses and the photos were amazing. It improves my street photography and portraits. This is pure delight for hobbyists on a budget. Tradeoffs: Plasticity vs M2 looks smart, but my silver M2 is better. Requires careful handling, I don't think it will withstand a fall to the ground. Menus are boring/monochrome, videos are ok for starters. I don't know what the future of the OMD series will be if Olympus changes hands, but this camera will last me for a few more years.
