Great for my "alternative use "

Very happy with this product. I didn't actually use it to connect the Varia to a bike seat, but to the back of the Topeak Explorer rack. On my MTX trunk bag, even with the radar mounted as high as possible on the saddle, the bag blocked the radar. So I used this bracket to attach it to the bracket on the back of the trunk. I added a few strips of tape to add friction and some flex when clamping, then clamped the bracket directly over the bracket tee. Works perfectly and keeps the radar far enough away from the steering wheel.
