This is the accessory pop filter

Honestly, there's nothing impressive about it, and that's fine. I don't need a revolutionary product that will blow my mind. I needed a simple unobtrusive pop filter. That's it. The construction is "good" at best, but then again, you get what you pay for. It's cheap plastic and cheap fabric. The tube and clamp are metal and seem strong enough for what they are. Also, the clamp has rubber grommets so it shouldn't damage the surface of whatever you're clamping it to (if that's something you're into) and overall it does its job well. Finally the arm isn't really sagging and hasn't had a problem supporting its own weight so far. However, I did notice that where it attaches to the clamp, it can be unscrewed. If you try to twist or bend it the wrong way, you will end up unscrewing it and it will never stay where you want it. Not a big problem, but something to be aware of. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars due to the one small issue I mentioned earlier and the budget build quality. Again, don't expect to be blown away. This is a cheap pop filter that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Pros
  • Adjustable gooseneck: The metal bracket on the flexible neck fully supports the weight of the filter and keeps it in place. You can adjust the angle and distance between the screen and the microphone.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model
