If you hate removing weld spatter, you'll love it. This is one of the soap-based anti-spatter sprays. I bought this to try in my welding shop as I often do flux cored MIG welding and hate the tremendous amount of time it takes to clean up the ubiquitous spatter. Cleaning takes three times longer than welding. If necessary, spray it lightly on the work surface (welding table) and on the parts to be welded, let them dry and weld. It is water based and dries very quickly. This does not affect the welding quality. Splashes can be removed with a cloth or, for large areas, with a wide spatula. Now I use it every time I weld. You will be impressed!
