I use this for curing meat. I received it 4 months ago. while it works fine. The temperature on the lowest setting varies between 34 and 40. About every 3-4 days there is a defrost cycle which raises the temperature to 42-43 for about an hour. There's always some ice at my back and my humidity is lower than I'd like, but I live in a dry climate. Overall, my meat turned out great. It's easy to turn a $150 ribeye into one of the top 10 steaks you've ever tasted. I wish the fridge was a bit wider as I usually have to cut a few steaks to fit.
