Excellent quality. 1999 F150 4.6 250,000 miles. I bought Purolator Boss, Royal Purple and Wix XP to compare and see which one I plan to use in the future. The filters are listed in the order listed above from heaviest to lightest. Boss is my personal pick for value and perceived quality. Royal Purple was the most expensive, then Boss and XP were around $7.50. All three of these filters are of the highest quality and can last 10,000 to 15,000 miles if you use fully synthetic filters. The only bad thing I can say about them is that Royal Purple has some reviews stating that their filter leaks and has some metal shavings on the end cap, but I haven't experienced that myself. I hope this helps a little with your decision!
