I enjoy doing DIY projects and most of my car work. There are times when I have a bolt hole that may have snapped off or become so badly rusted that it cannot be used. If it's a large part, like an exhaust manifold or header, I can resort to drilling out the damage, cutting the hole a bit larger, and using one of those Helicoil inserts to restore the hole to its original size It accepts the original screw. . It's a lot of work, but sometimes it's absolutely necessary. This large body kit includes helicoil inserts, special inserts, shank breakers, taps and multiple drill bits to get the job done. Both SAE and metric sizes are included, see listing for details. I found that I had to sort and glue small plastic boxes with different spiral wraps. The white band in the photo is mine. They open too easily and everything was a mess opening this kit. A few minutes of sorting and typing took care of that. I notice that the drill bits looked mediocre quality - one of them had a metal fragment showing on the sharp edge of the groove. This will lower the half star, but since there are no half stars I'll default to 5. I have my own excellent HSS Co (Cobalt) drill bits so I wasn't overly concerned; The rest of the kit looks great, although I hope I'll use it very seldom!
