Rewind two days ago: Tom: Did you seriously just buy a $40 box at Revain? Me: Yeah, I'm so tired of Sylvia stealing all those snacks. My clean $40 combination lock arrived today! I have carefully emptied all the snack boxes from the cupboards and filled the tiny acrylic box as full as possible with all the things she most often indulges in in the middle of the night. I would never lie to you I take the box from her, stunned by everything that just happened. Meanwhile, Tom puts baby Henry to bed. I tell him what happened and he offers to go to the security cameras and see how it all ends. And so, a six-year-old girl not only broke into the "safe," but also bypassed the surveillance cameras. At 7:55pm there is a clear box on the counter, and at 7:56pm it just disappeared and Sylvia is nowhere to be seen.
