Review on 🚴 Serfas Speed Bag: Enhance Your Cycling Speed with this Sleek Accessory by Mark Crawford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice saddlebag

I really like this bag. So much so that I'm buying a second one (also a medium sized one) for one of my other bikes. It has everything I was looking for in a saddlebag. What I particularly like about this bag: * Wide opening with two zippers * Straps on the back for attaching a flashlight * Mesh pocket in the flap for small items * Sturdy key clip * Straps on one side of the inner pocket for attaching items (e.g. levers) on the Side side of pocket * A pocket on the other side of the inner compartment that is just the right size for a debit card (or to hide your bus ticket in case you break something on your bike) * A zipper for expanding the pocket is at the bottom and easy to open or open when the bag is mounted on the bike * The bag looks beautiful. The Serfas logo isn't too ugly, and the colored part of the bag is also reflective, making it a bit more eye-catching. I like the size too. It's small enough to fit under the saddle without protruding, but big enough to hold everything I need. I usually carry an extra handset, a set of patches, some mounting rails, a cell phone, a debit card, a multitool, a chain breaker tool, a fare and some wet wipes for cleaning up a bit after moving house. Everything fits in easily without expanding the bag, so for a longer trip it can be expanded to hold some snacks. I have a few minor quirks. I wish I could put my driver's license and debit card in the inner mesh pocket, but it's too small. One of my other bags also has small webbing straps on either side of the opening flap to keep things from falling out if you accidentally leave the bag open. It hasn't, but due to its design, the valve wants to stay closed anyway. As I said, these are small things and I wouldn't lower my rating because of that. It seems pretty well made, but only time will tell. With other bags I've had, the zipper is usually the first thing to fail, so I'm guessing that would be the likely weak point of this bag if it has one. this price range, including a similar bag from Topeak, and all were missing something I was looking for. I took a chance and ordered it here from Revain and I'm glad I did.
