Got this for my 4 year old new aquarium, he loves it! It's really cute, the red color isn't as bright as in the picture but it's typical of everything. The cork is long enough to reach its hex reservoir. The bubbles are great, not like the picture posted. The only problem is that the light is split and the bottom of the volcano is empty, when you suck it on the glass the glow is visible all over the seam of the tank 😑 now maybe that's our tank because it's all plexiglass ( standing and the tank has no seams, like an ordinary rectangular tank) is not "strong", but it bugs me. He doesn't even look at it and doesn't seem to care. The red light goes about 3 inches above the hole (top), wish it was a lot higher. The water surface has a red tint at night, but not as much as "red water" during the day, or when a light is on, no red light is visible. The picture shows the time of day when the tank light is off. You can only see the red light burning in the vent, but unless it's completely black it's not visible in the bubbles, and then it's just a little above.
