Review on πŸ”₯ Efficient Power Stop KOE2405 Autospecialty Rear Replacement Brake Kit: OE Brake Rotors & Ceramic Brake Pads for Optimal Performance by Stephen Burgstaller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One stop solution for worn brakes

The price was reasonable compared to buying the brake pads and discs separately. All gear was included but instructions were pretty poor (no flashy jam). The only criticism so far is that the rotor hub area is rusted like a plough. Unlike some other products, the rotors aren't coated, so rain splashes or anything else will cause corrosion, which just doesn't look very nice. The brakes hold up well and I had no issues with squeaks or rattles. Toyotas are notorious for having problems with non-OEM brake pads. So far so good with these. Make sure to give the drive pins a good lube as part of maintenance and clean the caliper/piston mating surfaces and you should be lucky. You need to repair/replace a piece of drum brake hardware (guess from what I know). It would be nice to include this in the instructions as well. All in all, when I'm ready for front brakes, I'll most likely buy a kit to match.

Pros
  • Rotors use G3000 casting and are 100% balanced for factory performance and safety.
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
