serial connection. tie them together. The trigger to turn it on is almost instantaneous, at least in my experience. Any cards and adapters powered by a second power supply will power up and be correctly recognized when the PC boots up. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to daisy chain a power supply together. In my opinion this is much safer than using a 24 pin ATX splitter and will save you time, money and the hassle of looking for a single 1500W+ PSU. I am very happy with how this part works and have also tested it with 3 power supplies so 2 serial connections work just as well.
