So I ordered this because I wanted to switch between my WORK laptop and my home PC (DELL). I have 2 monitors, a printer and want to use a wireless mouse and keyboard. I wanted to switch back and forth to use the same workspace. DOES NOT HAPPEN. The specs and instructions say I can, but it just doesn't work for me. My daughter helped me with the installation. We thought the first one had a bad port, so we returned it. The second came and the same. This will prevent both monitors from working on the laptop or the desktop. They work great when not connected to this device. so not sure what the problem is. We have followed all directions - starting from scratch. It is not easy to reach the seller. She gave up and I'm working full time and I'm sitting here with a full box of gear and there is no solution to my problem. DISSATISFIED.
