Review on ☕ KRUPS Precision Grinder Flat Burr Coffee: Perfectly Ground Beans for Drip, Espresso, Pour Over & Cold Brew, 12 Cup Capacity in Sleek Black by Jordan Doyle

On the good side: very even cut. Cons: What a mess (with partial solution)

I've only used it once so it's very careful. I'm coming from a 20 year old Baratza grinder that costs a lot more money, but the Krups grind consistency is as good or even better than a much more expensive grinder. But the post-cleaning mess was significant—coffee particles were everywhere. I ended up having to turn it upside down over debris to remove the particles. I'm going to ask a question to see if anyone has a solution to the extreme static this grinder generates that is causing the cleaning problem. Update: A kind soul had a solution when I asked the question. She said to leave the ground coffee untouched for an hour, then the static electricity would dissipate. It happened! The only mess that remained was the "kickback" when the mill ran out of remaining beans. At this point, since there are no unground grains left at the top, the fragments begin to fly back to the top of the hopper and stay there. The small detachable brush above the detachable part of the cutter is not effective when cleaning as it is not long enough. You won't have this problem if you keep the beans "up" in the container to prevent this, but I weigh my beans first, so I think I'll have to turn the unit upside down. once every three to four days to get rid of the back in the upper chamber. That being said, the grind consistency is amazing for such an inexpensive grinder. If Krups had listened, I would have paid more for a better plastic to minimize static electricity (not all plastics are as susceptible to static electricity as the one Krups chose to use).
