Review on πŸ”§ Lisle 65700 Broken Plug Remover Kit: A Must-Have for Ford 3V Engine Owners! by Moises Dzihic

The tool fulfills its purpose perfectly

I purchased a Lisle tool and OTC spark plug removal kit 6918 to replace spark plugs on a 2006 Expedition. The OTC tool worked on some frozen plugs, but the Lisle tool was needed on some as well. Depending on where the cork breaks when you try to remove it, which tool will work best. Both served their purpose for their respective application. The best you can do is not to damage any of them and you don't need any tools. I found a YouTube video that recommended spraying penetrating oil, letting it sit for 30 minutes, then hitting it with an impact wrench and a spark plug head. I thought the guy was crazy, but after breaking all four candles on the right bank with a regular candle wrench and ratchet, I figured I was going to lose. I used the left bank striker and spark plug socket and was able to unscrew all four spark plugs easily, almost immediately and without much effort. Yes the ones on the fire wall are hard to get to but if you have different length extensions and a few swivels you can affect all 8 connectors on this car. So if you are reading reviews of this tool now, it's probably too late to tell you the secret of its effects, but I want to share this knowledge in case you still have a few plugs that need replacing. The tool did a great job.
