Not sure if this produces any UV at all. It is very important for testers to see if UVC occurs. But I have one positive thing to say. It runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for at least a month and is still submerged in the overflow basin in the protein skimmer area. So for me it was more durable than I thought. I think production would benefit from a housing around the lamp unit.
