Don't listen to the hype that you have to buy this jacket two sizes larger than your actual size. At 6ft, 230lbs, 50" chest and 40" waist I'm usually 2x so I ordered 4x. Big mistake! When it arrived it seemed like two sizes too big. The item was listed as free return but don't count on it. My only free return option was to travel more than an hour out of state to pick it up. I'm still waiting for Revain to reply and suggest other options! The jacket itself seems to be of acceptable quality for the $60 price tag - if it would fit I would keep it for myself. A color that's very bright, a lot more yellow than green if that's important to you, and the reflective tabs look like they're really bright at night. The pads don't really seem like enough protection, but hey, it should be better than no pads, right. At this price you could get better ones to replace them. POSITIVES: The jacket is made of mesh which feels very durable and falls over the entire arm for better airflow, unlike other jackets that have a hard material near the cuffs. The zippers are of good quality and the buttons hold securely. NEGATIVE RELATIONSHIPS: See sizing issues listed above. Also, I wanted this jacket as a one-season jacket for riding in very hot conditions, so I need maximum airflow. The jacket has several pockets that cover almost the entire front of the jacket and do not let air through. In fact, they look like they might actually be waterproof. If I had to leave my jacket on, I would cut it out. CURIOSITY: The largest pocket states that it is designed for concealed carry of firearms and has two built-in loops; one for the pistol and one for the magazine. I didn't want a jacket for it, but out of curiosity I tried it. In my opinion, this is a joke and not suitable for this purpose. GENERAL: If you want a great value, high visibility mesh jacket that you have to cut pockets out of to enjoy, order your made to measure jacket and I think you'll be happy. Even with some of its characteristics, as I said before, I would most likely not return it if it did fit.
