Great gadget for keeping in roadside emergency kit

A few years ago read the reviews and bought one for each car including my parents car. Thought it would be a good idea to stay close in case of an emergency; well, finally needed; twice. We pulled them out when Hurricane Matthews hit North Carolina. The ability to boot it up and charge yourself or other USB powered devices was invaluable, and we found the need to use it about 18 months ago when we had slight wing camber in upstate New York. Drawn mostly for the possibility of a flashlight, but a life saver nonetheless as we sat on the side of the road with the passengers of another car waiting for the repair/getaway vehicle to arrive. This Red Cross 4x4 is a must see! In both cases, I was able to call several local radio stations, stop passing cars, and move around the house during a power outage. 5 minutes start gave easily more than 20 minutes flashlight runtime. A mode switch on the side lets you choose between radio, flashlight, or USB-powered charging. Note however the description shows a picture of a Red Cross torx which is a DIFFERENT emergency light: I have this too and this is a nice bespoke road emergency light but it is different from this Red Cross Rover. This is a good tool to keep in your car as part of your roadside emergency kit. A bright flashlight, don't worry about it working when needed, and nice to power small smart devices when they're low. I'm sure it will serve me for many years :-)

Pros
