Review on ๐ŸŽถ Enhance Your Vinyl Experience with the Audio-Technica AT95E Phonograph Cartridge by Brandon Show

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy replacement with better tracking and responsiveness.

I received a vinyl copy of Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road albums as a gift, knowing my endless and unwavering love for almost anything what the Beatles are. And an extra gift in the form of a Christmas record/Beatles cards. I bought and used an Audio-Technica AT-LP3WH fully automatic belt drive stereo turntable, white, but decided to try a better cartridge. Not that the at91r was bad, but I've read that the response and tracking was better with this cartridge. Also, this cartridge seems to be one of the most popular, with some stores selling it for almost twice as much as Revain. The exchange went smoothly. It was easy to remove the mounting head, just unscrew it. The hardest part was removing the four wires that slid over the metal pins on the original bracket. I used a small screwdriver and small pair of pliers to pry the corrugated wire attachment out of the attachment point. The new corrugated wire holders in the cassette then slid easily into the fastening area. Once attached, two small screws attach the cartridge to the mounting head and then screw the head onto the tonearm. I adjusted the counterweight and anti-skating. After reading the reviews I adjusted it to 2 grams, the manufacturer's recommendations and reviews on this site. This took about 20 minutes and wasted most of my time checking the setup to determine where the cartridge should be positioned in relation to the front/rear hole on the mounting head. It is better? I noticed that the sound seemed fuller to my ears. Also, the previous cartridge had a slight issue with anti-skating and I had to omit it to avoid problems. It's a track, no problem. So, easy sharing, better tracking, fuller audio response. I'm happy
