This rating relates to the size 31.5 inches. This is a very beautiful piece of furniture. Natural wood, which is a rarity in this price range, is thus inundated with chipboard products. It doesn't come with instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out. The transparent pocket is for attaching the legs to the top and the red pocket is for attaching the shelves. This solid, well-made part took 20 minutes to assemble. Why 3 stars? Because the block is too short to fit on both shelves of my size 12 shoes. The middle shelf has 3 positions. To accommodate size 12 shoes, you need to position the shelf either high or low. This makes the second shelf completely unsuitable for shoes of any size. If you place a shelf in the middle, there is not enough free space on any shelf. This is a design flaw. The stand is unreasonably short. If they make it 4 inches taller and arrange the shelves like that, it could function as a full two-shelf shoe rack. For a 31.5" unit, the web photo does not accurately represent the distance between the shelves. Maybe the 39" unit has better proportions, I don't know. This shoe rack disappointed despite the excellent quality of materials and workmanship. I will try , to find an alternative destination, otherwise I like it.But a shoe rack that does not match shoes is a disadvantage.
