This chair was very soft, beautiful, good width but very light, easily reclined and slid like a plastic bag, whether on linoleum or carpet . If you have a setup where you can squeeze it between sturdier furniture, or your child likes to sit quietly with books, then this will work great. Provided your child doesn't throw themselves sideways over it and doesn't detach the armrests. My 24 pound 1 year old knocked this chair over in less than a minute the first time he touched it. Very disappointed. I might keep it for half the price. I sent it back and will look for a more durable chair. The return/refund service was quick and easy.
