We bought 2 masks, one for the small size of my 10 year old who doesn't use it. It fit perfectly. Waste of money, will never use again. But they work magic. Bought for my 13 year old average height he is about 5ft 0. For adults they work great. I'm 5'4, the setting is perfect. I watched YouTube videos about these masks before purchasing. Be careful and study these masks before going to the sea, many people have died wearing some of the cheaper masks. The best place to train is in the pool. Basically, when you go under the mask, it sticks more firmly to your face. It's a bit scary, it's probably better to be in the water so you can get up and take off your mask. If you can swim in shallow water, it's safe. This mask was the only one I could find that was certified and tested for C02 I believe. I felt better when my kids bought this. The masks don't leak. If so, you may be wrong. You need to make sure there is no hair in it. That the mask fits snugly against the face. If water does get in, it doesn't matter, there's plastic to keep it off your face. I also use it to clean my pool, it's a lot better to look around than swimming in little cheap face masks. My dream is to go snorkeling in Hawaii one day.
