The studs that secure the top are to long for the depth of the closed end fasteners leaving the top a little loose. The lamp is not weather tight at all. Time will be the arbiter of longevity.**The seller after reviewing my review has partially refunded me the purchase price, I explained that I added two more rubber washers to the studs so the acorn nuts would not bottom out, with the added washers the top is more secure. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I will not hesitate to purchase further items from this seller**
