These are very pretty but a solid works better in the room I want them in. I was also looking for a brighter orange and this is more subtle. The pattern is nice and adds that something extra without being overwhelming. I gave them 4 stars because they weren't very heavy. I live in SoCal and therefore have a fan on most of the time and they blew around too much even in the short time that I had them hanging. Usually room darkening panels are heavier which I appreciate because they are more inclined to stay put. They are the same color orange on the backside (without pattern) for anyone curious. I mention this since room darkening panels often have white backs. I did return them but not because anything was wrong with them. I just was looking for something very specific.
