Cute design and made to last

I bought this meal set for my granddaughter to match the play kitchen I bought on Amazon at the same time. The set arrived on time and was exactly as pictured. The set is high quality and durable so it will last a long time. This is way better than the plastic and cardboard sets she had before. It's only a matter of time before the toys get into the mouths of little kids, so they're great because they don't get chewed up like cardboard and plastic toys. I've seen previous reviews saying the food doesn't look very similar to real food but I didn't find it and neither did my granddaughter. I thought it was all cute and easy to identify for what it was. Of course she didn't care. I also really liked the small wooden trays in which the food is served. She keeps them in her kitchen cupboard with groceries stored in them, and they've held up well even after heavy use. I've also noticed that some of the paint has come loose, but that looks more like it's going to wear down with frequent use rather than chipping as other reviewers have noted. Overall, I think it's a big improvement over plastic and cardboard groceries, and the style is very charming. It is durable and will last for years. I highly recommend it!
