Review on πŸ’‘ Modern Crystal Ceiling Fan: 42" Remote Dimmable LED Chandelier with Retractable Blades - Perfect Lighting for Bedroom, Living Room, Dining Room by Jerry Delozier

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sloppy company on a grand scale, but a good fan when it works!

This was exactly what we wanted, a quiet and beautiful ceiling fan and I would have given it five stars if this company hadn't been so sloppy. In total, two out of three fans were sent to us with a defective motor. The first fan contained a pattern for a completely different fan or a collection of fans for sale, so the pattern was most likely for a fan that doesn't exist. Usually a multi-hour project turned into an ordeal, going up and down three times the first time and twice the second, because by the third fan we already knew what a failed motor sounds like. It's a good thing we didn't hire an electrician, which would cost hundreds of dollars that we'd probably never be able to afford. This company sent us a new fan because the motor of the first one broke and they contacted us and even sent us the right instructions eventually after the struggles and starts. The company is based in China, so there are difficulties there too. If the light had a dimmer it would be awesome but the light is too bright so it can't be used. They sent another fan free of charge to replace the one that had a broken motor and worked. They then sent us a free fan hoping for a better estimate, but it also had a faulty motor. Then they just sent the motor. This company was wonderful for us as customers, then they seemed to leave after the second broken engine. They promised after the first one that this is some kind of accident that doesn't happen. Then, after the second broken engine, they said it should be on delivery. Yes, hardly. If they really cared about the instructions (which they seem to be working on) and the broken motor, that would be a huge fan. But I wouldn't want to go through that again.

Pros
  • Invisible Retractable Ceiling Fan Blades
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance
