My daughter is finding out what her style is and wants to be different from her older sister, so I tried a different skirt style and function with this tennis style sporty skirt. It's even better than I expected. She is a girls size 14/16 and womens size XS fits her. I didn't want it to be too short or too tight as I don't think it's appropriate for her age. I thought it was a little longer than their regular running shorts and it is. The skirt bends, it bends a little, the back is well cut, so it hangs under the buttocks at the same length as the front. It's very flattering. The panties are crucial and she finds them comfortable and work well in the heat. The skirt seemed more appropriate for the summer than many of her shorts. Super cute on her! We buy another skirt in a different color. Great find.
