The lid is very, very tight.
The cover fitted very well from the wing mirrors to the rear bumper but the cover from the wing mirrors to the front bumper was so tight that it stretched the cover from the wing mirrors all the way down it looked like this as if the cover material was about to break and that was the only way to fit the cover and it was very tight when I tried to fit the cover onto the front bumper. This caused the cover not to fit my 2017 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible.
