This is a flat LED strip less than 1/2 inch wide (approx. 11mm wide x 6mm thick). I asked for cold white. The color I received is fine and they are VERY bright. I plan to use them outdoors. It's too early to tell if they will hold up to the outside light, but I'm very happy with the brightness. about 100 volts DC to the lights. Looks like the LEDs are about 30 per meter. The instructions say there are markings indicating where the light wire needs to be cut in case you want to shorten it. There aren't any Markings on mine. You can only cut where 2 bare wires are visible in the plastic. You will need to make your own seal at each joint and at the end of the strip. A small tube of silicon adhesive is included for this.
