Review on Leatt Unisex Adult Body Protector Black Motorcycle & Powersports -- Protective Gear by Nick Granner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great jacket, great fit, the only issue is the size, 100% the most comfortable jacket of 2018, two thumbs up

Four stars because there is a small sizing issue. Extra-extra-big isn't that big. Two thumbs up. Fits well under clothes, soft padding, very comfortable, fits the body like a glove, puree, spandex material, super comfortable. This is the first tier, they have tiers 2 and 3, they have higher tiers with stiffer armor for more aggressive driving1. This is the only body armor from many other manufacturers. This suit fits 100% like a glove, the material is excellent, very flexible and comfortable, this is one of the most comfortable armored suits on the market, currently there is no better suit than an armored suit. We have tried suits from all other manufacturers, Fox, Thor, Alpine Stars, Demo, Eve, Race Face, 7IDP, POC, Troy Lee, several other brands etc. We have tried many brands and many of them use foam and backing. the elbow is not fully covered the elbow is fully covered and they use a gel padding system and are soft and offer much better coverage than previous generations and current body armor on the market in 2018. The company needs to know this is a superb jacket is, and continue with this material and design until there is a better one.2. It is padded in the chest, back, elbows, shoulders and kidneys. The kidney area uses regular foam padding, not gel like the rest of the suit.3. The mesh material is very breathable, but tends to get a little warm under gel pads. It's not bad but you have really good protective pads that seem to suffer in these areas and a lot of manufacturers try to use foam instead of gel but in fact foam does not work well as gel. Gels tend to be slightly warmer under Summer4 padding. We can definitely recommend the suit. Size is a small issue
