Black plastic line I think it was the fuel line as you can see in the picture it was too long to be used properly. I couldn't use the new clean fuel filter that was attached to it. I am not happy with the purchase but I had to use the gas pump to start the car again. I replaced it with an old dirty filter. I did a test drive and so far so good. The resistance of the fuel pump motor was 3.5 ohms. I hope that's how it's meant to be and I hope the pump lasts a long time. The last 2 pumps have failed. One lasted ten days and the last only two days. They all return. All I know is that I'm very good at replacing a fuel pump and I can do it in under 1/2 hour. What I don't want to do. I hope this pump will last and be of good quality as advertised. I don't want to change the fuel pump again. The smell and touch of gasoline makes me sick, not to mention the fire hazard. I'm changing my rating from two to one star. I am even more angry as I write this review.
