I connected them to a Cradlepoint MC400 modem and they work great for my application. Where they are used I have good coverage so I did not need a high gain antenna. They are excellent for this purpose. They are cheap and serve their purpose. I may not use them as a long-term solution, but for 1/3 the cost of branded cradle point antennas that do the same thing, I'm happy with them. My router basically uses an outdoor mounted panoramic antenna and runs the cables to the modem. They are only needed when I take the router from home to our RV.
