I have had a need for some storage for some reference books and notebooks that I wanted to keep together for a class that I lead. I didn't want anything fancy, but something rugged that would stand up to being thrown around. Let's take a look at this bag.WHAT IS THIS LIKE?This bag is pretty straightforward. It is leather. It has a flap and two levels of snaps on it. One will close it tightly, the other will leave the top open some if you have something tall that you want inside. There are no dividers or pockets. It is just a bag.HOW DOES THIS PERFORM?This has no handle, but it does keep my reference books and notebooks all together and they are in one place. I really like it. It is rugged and you can use leather balm on it if you want it to be a bit more pliable.THE BOTTOM LINEIf you want a straightforward bag with no handles or frills, this is a great choice. It has thick leather, is decently made and will hold quite a bit.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. I just wish it was a little more secure on top so things won't slip out (smaller) but otherwise it is a great bag for what I need it for.
