Review on Flameless Unscented Tealight Butterfly Batteries by Leslie Little

These candles look very nice but after 4 months of ownership I discovered 2 major drawbacks. First, the battery life is terrible. Leaving them on 8 hours a day will drain the batteries in about 4-5 days. We use rechargeable batteries, but when you're not using them, be prepared to spend a fortune on batteries. Another issue is that they should turn on automatically. The description for them says they turn on automatically. Even after pressing the 8H or 4H button, they do not turn on automatically. I just noticed this because we had them turned on manually for a long time but decided to use a timer. I looked at the instructions and it says that the timer is "non-cyclic". So my interpretation of this is that they shouldn't turn on automatically, and they don't! They turn off automatically after 4 or 8 hours depending on which button you press, but they don't turn on automatically. Another thing I noticed after purchasing it is that the reviews about them when I bought them were not genuine. excellent with many complaints about battery life. Suddenly they got a lot of good reviews. I suspect some false reviews were added to make these candles look better than they are. So they are very uncomfortable. You have to turn them on manually and keep changing batteries. They are attractive, but due to the above issues, I cannot recommend them. The biggest issue for me is that they don't turn on automatically like they say in the description and if I had known about this I wouldn't have bought them. I should have returned them when I could.
