Works perfectly! Fits incandescent bulbs
I bought this to match the new ceiling light (see photo). With an ordinary light bulb, you cannot see the beautiful light that is displayed on the ceiling through the holes in the fixture. 100W provides normal light. Not bright enough when used in this fixture which covers most of the bulb. The dimmer works fine. .and a cool ceiling display without blinding you when you look up!
