This product is better designed than some old towbars. It has a large weldable surface area which should make it stronger. The safety change vents are more on the front than the back, which is also a better design. Installation wasn't difficult, except that three of the screws had the wrong thread pattern, so I had to go to Ace Hardware and spend another $10 to buy three new screws. The seller offered me a refund but returning it would be a bigger problem.
